These are extraordinary times that require extraordinary advice. The hallmark of Lowe Law Firm, PC (“LLF”) has been the ability to achieve successful results. LLF is able to quickly assess a client’s circumstances, obtain a clear understanding of the client’s objectives, design an action plan to accomplish those objectives and assist the client in implementing the strategy.

There are several key components to LLF’s success. First, LLF has great personnel. LLF has assembled a bright and skilled group of lawyers, legal assistants and administrative team. Second, LLF specializes in and limits its practice to well defined practice areas. LLF does not try to be everything to everyone. Third, LLF uses technology to work smarter and swiftly for its clients.

LLF is led by its founder, Dick Lowe. Dick has been practicing law for over 30 years and, in addition to being an attorney, is also a Certified Public Accountant. Dick combines the training in both of these disciplines with his extensive experience in several interrelated practice areas to give him the unique ability to rapidly synthesize complex issues and craft solutions.

Dick’s extraordinary abilities have been acknowledged by members of the legal profession. Dick is recognized as one of Michigan’s “best lawyers” in two areas, taxation and trusts and estates, in the publication “Best Lawyers in America” published by Woodward and White. He was designated as one of Michigan’s Super Lawyers in the fields of estate planning, probate and mergers and acquisitions. He was elected as a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, a national organization of approximately 2,600 lawyers who were elected by their peers based on the highest level of integrity, commitment to the profession, competence and experience as trust and estate counselors. Fellow lawyers have given Dick the highest rating, “AV”, maintained by Martindale-Hubbell. Dick is the former chair of the Probate & Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan, which Section consists of the largest group of Michigan lawyers. Most recently, US News selected LLF as a Tier One ranking in Tax Law and Trust and Estates Law.

Make no mistake, LLF is a lot more than just its founder. Dick is flanked by two additional attorneys, Chris Savage and Paul Cervenak. Chris has been practicing law for over fifteen years. Chris has a master’s of law in taxation. She has extensive experience in estates and trusts, retirement and employee benefits and entity and business planning. Chris is listed in the Best Lawyers in America in the area of trusts and estates and is editor and co-author of “Michigan Revocable Granter Trust”, an ICLE publication. She is co-editor of the extremely popular publication, “Michigan Revocable Grantor Trusts”, published by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education.

Paul has been practicing law in Michigan and North Carolina for approximately nine years. Paul practices in the areas of real estate, business and corporate law. He is recognized by the Michigan business community with his knowledge and accomplishments, having been named to the 2013 and 2014 Michigan Super Lawyers Rising Stars List in the areas of business/corporate law. Paul is active in many civic organizations. He currently serves as the President of the East Lansing, Michigan Public Library Board of Trustees and has served as a member of the East Lansing, Michigan Planning Commission.

LLF’s lawyers are complemented by two paralegals, Shirley Smith (business) and Kelly Boks (trusts and estates). The administrative staff, Julie Lane, Robin Olin, and Tina Holliday, are important members of the LLF team who play a vital role in assisting clients.

LLF specializes in the following areas: taxation, trusts and estates, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, business law, entity formation and contracts. LLF attorneys have a substantial knowledge base and experience in these important practice areas. There are many substantive areas of law in which LLF attorneys don’t practice. We have found that our clients are best served by referring them to other lawyers known to and trusted by the LLF attorneys who are experts in areas of law in which the LLF lawyers are not.

In today’s world, getting the right answers for clients isn’t nearly enough. LLF delivers imaginative solutions timely and cost effectively through use of its state of the art technology. The LLF team makes extensive use of technology to retrieve, analyze, store and communicate information. Our use of technology permits leveraging our vast substantive legal knowledge for the benefit of the clients we serve.

Many folks think that a big law firm is the way to go. People assume that a big law firm must be successful. However, many have discovered that big isn’t always better. At LLF, we prove every day that it’s not the size of the firm that matters but the magnitude of the skills, ingenuity and resourcefulness of our team that attracts and retains clients.
